Jane Lynch is the third woman in history to be hosting the Emmy's, following in the footsteps of Ellen DeGeneres (2005) and Angela Lansbury (1993). Sue Sylvester would be so proud.

Speaking of the New Directions nightmare, we asked Lynch on the Fox TCA Winner's Walk carpet if her alter ego would possibly make an appearance at the Emmys on Sept. 18. So, what did the outspoken actress have to say?

"We haven't decided yet, but we'll see," she tells us with a coy smile. "She would want every award for herself…and she'd wear a track suit dress."

Mark Burnett, who's producing the Emmys, revealed his reasons for picking Lynch as host, and that's when it became a total love fest on the carpet between those two. "She's totally amazing," he gushed. "You need someone who is very comfortable live, and a big star, beautiful, funny. We're going to have a good time. Lots of pace, music, fun, spoofs and short films."
