Who knew that making beds rock could cost you $15 million?!
Lil Wayne, along with Universal Music Group, Cash Money Records and Young Money Entertainment, was slapped with a lawsuit by Done Deal Enterprises claiming the rapper stole the 2009 hit song "Bedrock."
The track, included on Young Money Entertainment's 2010 compilation CD We Are Young Money, features artists Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lloyd and reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Georgia-based production group is asking for a $15 million payout for copyright infringement, and Dwayne Carter Jr. (Wayne's birth name) has been ordered to appear in court on Oct. 12.
But that's not all.
Wayne is also facing legal trouble for alleged unpaid royalties to the production duo Play-N-Skillz from a 2008 collaboration with T-Pain and a suit from producer David Kirkwood for outstanding payments and royalties from his hit album Tha Carter III.
