Believe it or not, Charlie Sheen has cut one of his ties to the porn world.

The actor has dropped his extortion lawsuit against Capri Anderson, the adult-film actress who witnessed Sheen having an allergic reaction a raging, chair-throwing meltdown in his Plaza hotel suite last October and promptly filed a criminal complaint against the actor.

Sheen apparently tried his best to sue Anderson for the price of a Patek Philippe watch he says she stole (she has always denied that), but there was one little problem.

His people never managed to serve her with the lawsuit because they couldn't find her!

"The plaintiff was unable to serve me with a lawsuit. I have nothing more to say. I've moved on," Anderson, whose real name is Christine Walsh, told TMZ.

Well, at least she's safe and sound, right? But she should know that the case was dismissed July 29 without prejudice, meaning Sheen is free to refile the suit, according to court records obtained by E! News.

No charges were ever filed against Sheen in connection with that wild night, which landed him in the hospital and kicked off a period of more public bad-boy behavior that ultimately put him out of a job.
