MTV has a new hit on their hands, and it has nothing to do with gym, tan, or laundry. Though we are exciting for Jersey Shore to return as well.
In what is being described as Easy A meets Juno with a hint of My So Called Life, Awkward follows social outcast Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards) who suddenly finds herself thrust into the crazy world of high school popularity. We have an exclusive clip from tomorrow's episode, titled "Knocker Nightmare," where Jenna has to deal with an idiot guidance counselor, a leaked picture of her chest, and a popular bully who can't stop bobbing her neck.
Lesson learned from the clip: cell phones have only made high school more dangerous.
Awkward airs Tuesday nights at 11 p.m. on MTV.
