Lamar Odom is a basketball star and, thanks to his hit E! show, a big-time reality TV star, too.
So, you can't really blame the paps surrounding him and his brother-in-law Robert Kardashian outside a Beverly Hills barber shop this weekend for assuming that one, or both of those things, would prompt Khloé Kardashian Odom's hubby to get stars on the back of his head.
But it turns out, the reason for doing it is not at all about him.
"My cousin, his name is Curtis Smith, he got killed," Odom said. "We called him 'The Star.' "
Sadly, it was just over a week ago that the vehicle carrying Odom while he was in New York City to attend his cousin's funeral, struck a 15-year-old boy who later succumbed to his injuries.
Of course, when asked about sister-in-law Kim's upcoming nuptials, and whether or not he would be strutting his stuff on the dance floor, the mood was understandably much lighter.
"If everybody dances, I'll get down," he said with a smile.
