If Rihanna ever decides to go the Southern Rock route, she's got our vote.

During the singer's special tornado relief benefit concert (as part of her Loud tour) in Birmingham on Monday night, the Barbadian beauty blazed through a rousing rendition of the Lynyrd Skynyrd tune "Sweet Home Alabama."

Decked out in a pair of Daisy Duke-like short shorts, Rihanna no doubt wowed the crowd, who helped the "S&M" songstress raise $250,000 for those still suffering in the aftermath of April's devastating tornadoes.

Here's hoping we here more like this from RiRi. "Freebird," anyone?
