At the rate DMX is going, what's another week in the slammer?

The rapper-actor, who was sentenced to a year behind bars in Arizona last December after his probation was revoked for failing to submit to drug testing, is once again in trouble.

So what did he do this time?

He failed a drug test while behind bars and was ordered to spend another week in lockup.

The rapper, real name Earl Simmons, had already been credited with 117 days served and was due to be released from jail tomorrow. So close, DMX, so close.

With the additional time slapped on, his new release date is now July 19.

Since January, DMX has been caught smoking twice and had been nabbed once with drugs while locked up.

Last November, the Cradle 2 the Grave star had denied violating his probation by using cocaine or Oxycontin. That violation was on his probation stemming from his 2009 conviction on animal-cruelty, drug and identify-theft charges.
