Attention, Muggles, the air space is now clear and safe as our Witches, Wizards and Warlocks tournament has come to an end.

It's been a duel-fueled few weeks as spell-casters ranging from The Lord the Ring's Gandalf (Ian McKellen) to Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Willow (Alyson Hannigan) to The Covenant's Tyler Simms (Chace Crawford) vied for the top magical title.

In the end, it came down to two dear friends: Hogwarts classmates Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and, of course, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe).

So who won?

It's Hermione!

Yep, our beloved know-it-all knocked out the Boy Who Lived with an impressive 61 percent of the vote.

So what makes Ms. Granger the best of the best? Well...

The girl's brain just soaks up—and restores!—magical knowledge, which is quite handy when in need of spells for escaping sticky situations.

Yes, our girl can be bossy, but she is utterly devoted to pals Ron (Rupert Grint) and Harry and puts up with a lot of their nonsense. Plus, she's so dang logical, and her cool head helps when emotions run high.

Though she's mostly a straight arrow, girlfriend's not afraid to bend the rules when necessary—which makes her pretty kickass all-around.

Congrats, Hermione!
