Last night on So You Think You Can Dance, we watched as 10 couples boogied their hearts away for a chance to stay in the competition.
But tonight, that dream ended for some.
Four contestants were sent home—can you guess who?
After a group performance with all 20 contestants, host Cat Deeley attempted to dance her pretty booty onstage and explained that the experts (and judges) Mary Murphy, Nigel Lythgoe and Debbie Reynolds have their work cut out for them tonight.
The bottom three couples based on last night's performances were: Missy Morelli and Wadi Jones, Iveta Lukosiute and Nick Young, and Ryan Ramirez and Ricky Jaime.
Then each individual had to give a solo "dance for their life."
Wadi was first and did a breakdance routine to "Pon de Floor" by Major Lazer. Right after, Missy hit the stage with a flirty but still technical routine to "Move" by CSS. Nick perfomed a tap routine (hey, that's new) to "Follow me Down" by LMFAO.
Iveta sparkled onstage (literally, her dress was bright) to "Samba Rock" by Gennaro and, can we just say, we see Dancing With the Stars in her future. Ricky comes on, shirtless, and hit the floor spinning to "Riot Rhythm" by Sleigh Bells, and the last contestant was Ryan, who entertained the crowd with "Moving Mountains" by Usher.
While the judges discussed which guy and gal are going back home, we got a nice show by LMFAO who performed "Party Rock Anthem.".
But the shuffling could only last so long.
The bottom three ladies were up first, and Nigel let the audience know that the judges' decision on who to keep on the show was unanimous.
So which girl did all three judges want to move on?
That would be Ryan, which means Missy and Iveta were sent home.
Next, it's the fellas.
After going through and giving comments to each guy, Nigel praised Ricky's solo: "Ricky, I don't think that we've ever seen you dance better than you've danced in your Dance for Your Life tonight…You were absolutely brilliant in that, which is why we are keeping you on the show."
Cue loud cheers and crocodile tears as Nick and Wadi said good-bye.
Now that four were sent home, the competition gets a little more gruesome.
Who's next to go?
