Who knew Selena Gomez was such a junk food junkie?

While she told E! News earlier this week that her recent hospital stay stemmed from being "malnourished, dehydrated and low on iron," Justin Bieber's better half is elaborating a bit further as to why.

Plus, more on her super team-up with Britney Spears after the jump...

"I do eat," Gomez assured listeners during a visit to the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning radio show in Texas. "The problem is I don't eat right. I love everything that's possibly not good for me."

Fortunately, the starlet said she's been getting a little assistance from her mom when it comes to what she now consumes.

"She's definitely shoving vitamins down my throat and following me around," Gomez pointed out. "But I was a stubborn kid, so I got to eat whatever I wanted. I have to have creamed spinach or cheese on my broccoli. I have to have something that makes it not healthy."

And the 18-year-old also confessed to having a bit of sweet tooth.

"I love M&M's, Kit Kats, Snickers and Goobers at the movies," Gomez revealed.

Meanwhile, it's certainly no secret that Gomez also has a love for everything Britney, who has graciously cowritten the song "Whiplash" for her upcoming third album.

Take a listen to the track above and let us know what you think. Yes, it sounds very Spears. Then again, we're sure Gomez woudn't want it any other way.
