According to the old expression, Sometimes, you can't win for losin'. Well, for Tracy Morgan, sometimes is right now. That's because while being embroiled in controversy for making violently homophobic remarks (and later apologizing), Morgan won the Best Comedy Actor Award at the Monte Carlo TV Festival Friday. How you say in French? Bad timing.

Oh, the irony! Deadline Hollywood reports that other, more-winning winners at the Mediterranean media meetup included Mad Men (Best Drama), Modern Family (Best Comedy) and Jon Hamm (Best Drama Actor). American shows CSI, Desperate Housewives & The Bold and the Beautiful also swept the international favorites competition in their respective genres.

But of course Tracy is in a genre all his own at the moment. It's called, Duh, Losing!
