Not to draw comparisons or anything (we would never!), but if it's good enough for Mariah Carey, it's apparently good enough for Jennifer Lopez.

Which is why it makes perfect scents sense to us that the American Idol judge will be turning up on HSN July 2 for a whopping eight-hour appearance to shill the latest fragrance in her ever-growing perfume empire, Love and Light.

The latest eau de toilette is described as a "sparkling floral, woody fragrance" designed to bring out the singer's more sensual side. Which apparently she's been hiding all these years. Even the bottle was designed to represent the curves of a lady.

As for J.Lo's daylong foray onto the airwaves, she's expected to share personal stories about both the development of her latest fragrance (which won't hit department stores until September) and her career in general. In between the awkward pauses and stilted banter. Can't forget those.
