The Governator may be back. Maybe.

Production on the animated series featuring the vocal talents of Arnold Schwarzenegger has been suspended indefinitely in light of—you got it—the news that the former box-office hero fathered a child with his family's housekeeper.

"In light of recent events, A Squared Entertainment, POW, Stan Lee Comics, and Archie Comics, have halted production," the companies said in a joint statement. They do not say whether they ever expect it to resume, either.

What, they don't want the actor who's playing a family man who moonlights as a crafty crimefighter to actually have a double life?

Schwarzenegger's office announced yesterday that the former governor of California was postponing all plans to jump-start his movie career while he dealt with infinitely more pressing personal issues.
