Monroe and Moroccan aren't even out of the hospital yet and already they're becoming potential tabloid targets.

During an appearance on Thursday's Piers Morgan Tonight, new dad Nick Cannon talked about how he and wife Mariah Carey were paid a visit by a social worker earlier this week to check on the well-being of the twins.

Wait. What?

"Child protective services were called with allegations that, you know, there was some drinking and drugs and all that going on while in the hospital, which makes no sense to me," said Cannon. "Like, how would a hospital even allow that?"

Cannon believes the call was most likely made after a nurse suggested to Carey that she drink a small amount of Guinness ale because "the yeast improves breastfeeding."

"I guess someone maybe overheard that, and this is a good way to make a quick buck, or call the tabloids," he said. "People will do anything to conjure up a story."
