Pia Toscano Talks: Is She Dating Mark Ballas?

Exclusive! Amerian Idol songbird dishes on what's really going on with the Dancing With the Stars champ

Pia Toscano and Mark Ballas sure make an adorable couple, right?

Maybe so, but...

Despite the intense speculation that the American Idol songbird and Dancing With the Stars pro are dating, Toscano insists there is no—we repeat, no!—romance.

"We're just friends," she told us last night at the launch party for the Samsung Infuse 4G at L.A.'s Milk Studios.

Even so, Toscano isn't sweating the scrutiny into her private life. "It's something you have to be prepared for," she said. "Before I auditioned for the show, I asked myself, 'Am I going to be able to handle this?' You have to know what you signed up for. It's tough at first, but you get used to it. This is what everybody dreams about...It's so worth it."

As for her recording life, Toscano revealed, "I'm in the studio just trying some things right now. The album's not really happening right this second, but we're working toward it.

"Hopefully," she said, "after the tour, everything will come together."

Last night's Samsung bash included an eight-song set by Nicki Minaj. Jennifer Hudson and fiancé David Otunga were there, as were David Arquette, DWTS' Dmitry Chaplin and Anna Trebunskya, Kelly Rowland, Ciara and Twilight star Edi Gathegi.
