Two and a Half Men could have turned into One and a Half Men and a Bloke!

Hugh Grant was recently in talks to replace Charlie Sheen on CBS' hanging-in-the-balance sitcom, a source close to the situation confirms to E! News, but negotiations ultimately stalled.

Blimey!

The source also says that reports that the British actor was offered $1 million per episode to come aboard are incorrect, adding that no one they're thinking of hiring will be paid that much.

Grant's rep has not returned requests for comment, and CBS and Warner Bros. are remaining mum about Grant's involvement.

The About a Boy star joins Rob Lowe and John Stamos among the handsome fellows whose names have been linked to Two and a Half Men (all to no avail) since Sheen was kicked off the show.
