What's a day without a Hunger Games casting announcement?

Luckily, Lionsgate announced today they are adding another big name to the much-hyped cast.

The role of Caesar Flickerman, the upbeat TV host of the Hunger Games, is officially off the market, and the gig goes to that impressive chameleon of an actor Stanley Tucci!

So is he the right guy for the part?

Tucci, who has mastered every role from a flamboyant fashionisto in The Devil Wears Prada to a super-creepy murderer in The Lovely Bones, will no doubt go a great job as the Hunger Games host famous for finding humor in even the most dire circumstances.

Flickerman appears in all three of Suzanne Collins' novels, so it sounds like Tucci better be clearing his schedule for the next few years!

According to a press release from Lionsgate today, Tucci's character is "Known for his outrageous appearance and buoyant personality, his upbeat interviews of the 24 tributes—a boy and a girl from each of the country's 12 districts—are presented on every television in the nation. "

Seacrest must have been busy.
