Between jet ski rides and prepping to start shooting Rock of Ages in Miami later this month, Russell Brand took a little time out to relax and celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
So how does the married, self-proclaimed sober star let loose?
"Russell was hanging with a tall guy pal and munching on some easy Mex bites," an eyewitness at the Lime restaurant in South Beach dishes to us. "He was totally low key and cool in that Brand way of his."
When did the reformed party boy and ladies man become so totally boring?
Earlier in the week, Brand was spotted at Soho House in West Hollywood chowing down with a male pal.
"He had at least four dishes all to himself," an eyewitness at the posh private club tells us of the hungry star. "He was eating a late dinner with a male friend. A woman joined their table mid-meal, but it looked like they were discussing business."

Christian Slater, who was also spotted getting his grub on. We caught the actor at The Forge restaurant in Miami Beach breaking fancy bread with Burn Notice actress Gabrielle Anwar and her beau, Shareef Malnik, who owns the joint.
According to our spy, "Christian looked happy and oh-so-young and was deep in conversation with power attorney/philanthropist Jim Ferraro."
