Britney Spears may be getting ready to kick off her Femme Fatale tour next month, but it's not like she's only thinking about herself these days.
Pop music's comeback kid is gonna be hosting a big ole fancy dinner in Beverly Hills next week.
Spears is hosting An Evening of Southern Style on May 11 in Beverly Hills. The sit-down dinner at a private residence will benefit the St. Bernard Project, an organization that continues to help Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
The group has already rebuilt homes for more than 350 families with the help of 32,000 volunteers, but there's much more to be done.
"I am so honored to be a party of this cause," Spears said. "Louisiana will always be a part of my soul."
And guess who's doing the cooking? No, not Britney, but her professional chef dad Jamie. Papa Spears' menu will include Louisiana shrimp and grits, jambalaya and soft shell crab fish fry, among other things.
It's certainly got me all hungry just thinking about it.

Brit kicks off her tour on June 16 in Sacramento, California. The 26-city gig finishes up August 13 in Toronto. And as we all know by now, joining her on the road is the absolutely fabulous Nicki Minaj.
