"The date, we're like back and forth on, but I think that we've nailed it," Simpson told us last night at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood party, where she was honored as Style Icon of the Year. "It's within the year."
So will Simpson be looking to Miss Middleton this Friday for some royal wedding inspiration...
"No!" Simpson told reporters. "I got my own inspiration. But I am interested to see what the dress is going to look like."
As for her own dress, Simpson says she hasn't picked one out yet but does have an idea of what it will look like.
Inside last night's bash at Hollywood hotspot Eden, Simpson and Johnson stayed side by side, whispering, smiling and kissing affectionately in a private booth they shared with friends. Jess let loose by throwing her arms up and dancing to the music throughout the night while seated next to her man.
Other Hot Hollywood partygoers who stopped by the event included Paris Hilton, Joe Jonas, Kathy Griffin and Hayden Panettiere, Jessica Szohr and Joe Manganiello.
