However, the Something Borrowed hottie tells us he's doing less of that at home these days by going green and taking recycling to the next level...

"I recycle, and what I started doing was, instead of throwing away my electronics in the garbage like I used to, I have a box at home that I throw away like old batteries and old electronics that I don't use anymore and I bring them over to the collection over near UCLA," Egglesfield tells us.

The hunky actor says he decided to take action after seeing disturbing photos from Africa.

"Once I saw what was going on where they were actually dumping a lot of these old electronics, and mercury and lead were leaking out, it really got to me," he said. "Just piles of old electronics and all that stuff leaks into the ground."
