Maybe Steven Soderbergh should call this one Sex, Lies & Please God Just Make It Go Away.

The still married director has ended his baby-daddy drama with Frances Lawrencia Anderson—the Australian woman whose child he admitted to fathering earlier this year—by quietly handing over some cash to "resolve" the paternity suit she filed against him...

Anderson's lawyer, Raoul Felder, tells E! News that the duo, who carried on an affair in late 2009 while the director was reportedly separated from wife Jules Asner, have finally come to an amicable agreement regarding money for the baby.

"The matter was resolved," says the legal eagle. "There was a confidentiality clause so I can't discuss the settlement. Life goes on."

So will the Traffic director now be a part of the 5-month-old girl's life?

Not so much. Soderbergh's lawyer, Bernard Clair, told the New York Post it's now simply "on to the next movie" for the Erin Brockovich director.

As we've told you before, he's not so interested in getting to know his kid.

"He just wants to pay for the child's support, as he should," a source had told E! News about the whole fiasco earlier this year.

The director has yet to make a comment on the whole scandal.
