• Southland: Happy dance! TNT has officially renewed outstanding LAPD drama Southland for a third season of 10 episodes. Congrats to the show's excellent creative team and to us devoted fans.
Plus, which two comedy megastars are slated to appear in the season finale of The Office, and why is Mad Men suffering a serious production delay? Find out in today's TV news roundup:
• The Office: Will Arnett and Ricky Gervais are both guesting in the season finale of The Office. Is there anyone alive who wouldn't love to see Will Arnett (or hell, his 30 Rock character Devon Banks) take over as the boss of Dunder Mifflin Scranton? We've been told that Michael Scott's replacement would probably be an internal candidate, but, oh, come on...Arnett? That's a good thing.
• Mad Men: Dagnabbit. Media-news god Brian Stelter of The New York Times pretty much certifies that we won't see season five of Mad Men until sometime in 2012, thanks to the sluggish pace of the three-way negotiations between AMC, Lionsgate TV and executive producer Matthew Weiner. Could money struggles kill Men's momentum, or is that show unstoppable, at least as far as critical adoration is concerned?
