It turns out the Sin City prosecutor who handled Paris Hilton's and Bruno Mars' respective coke arrests last year has a little problem himself.

Clark County Deputy District Attorney David Charles Schubert was busted Saturday on possession of—wait for it—cocaine.

What happens in Vegas is hypocrisy, apparently.

Per the police report obtained by E! News, the 47-year-old prosecutor was stopped in his car Saturday by a police officer around 4:51 p.m. after the patrolman suspected Schubert was involved in a drug transaction with a street dealer.

Schubert was immediately booked into jail on felony possession, according to jail records, and is now suspended pending an investigation, but is expected to lose his job.

We've a feeling Hilton and Mars are experiencing some schadenfreude about now.

Then again, perhaps Schubert, who ran a federal drug task force, might have been sympathetic to the celebs since he allowed them to get out of their jams and avoid the slammer with separate plea deals.
