Ryan Phillippe's Pregnant Ex: I Don't Need His Help!

Claims she has not been speaking out about the situation, despite media reports

Alexis Knapp, the actress who may be pregnant with Ryan Phillippe's child, wants to set the record straight.

"She has never asked Ryan for any help, nor does she expect it," said her rep.  "She continues to appreciate the love and support from family and friends."

While reports circulated suggesting some drama involving financial support, Knapp's rep says it's just not the case.

Knapp's rep tells E! News that the actress hasn't been talking about the situation.

"Alexis has maintained her silence and will continue to do so. Any source claiming to be her or from her camp up to this point is false," said the rep. 

E! News reported yesterday that Philippe also was not "blindsided" by Knapp's pregnancy, nor her assertion that he's the father. 

"He was the first to know," a source told E! News. "She was sure it was his baby because they had just broken up. She doesn't date around and she hasn't dated anyone since him."

The Lincoln Lawyer star plans to take a paternity test after the child is born and, if he is indeed the father, he will provide financial support.

Knapp, a 21-year-old actress started seeing Phillippe last February after his split from Stop-Loss costar Abbie Cornish. The actor and Knapp broke up in October, after which Knapp learned she was pregnant. The baby is reportedly due in June.

Phillippe has two children, 11-year-old Ava and 7-year-old Deacon, with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon, who is said to be planning to wed agent Jim Toth.
