How do you say "Sandra Bullock is awesome" in Japanese?

Opening up her heart—and her wallet—once again, the actress has generously donated $1 million to the American Red Cross in order to help those in need following Japan's devastating tragedy last week, reports CNN.

Of course, this isn't the first time the Blind Side star has shown her kind side.

Bullock contributed the same dollar amount last year to Doctors Without Borders in the wake of the earthquake that ravished Haiti. She also gave large sums to a school in New Orleans for rebuilding purposes after the city was hit by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Yep, Sandra Bullock is awesome. In any language. But some Great American Country stars are right behind her...

GAC announced Thursday that Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Chris Young, Randy Houser and various other country stars have taped PSAs for the network encouraging people to donate to the Red Cross.
