Looks like Chelsea Lately's week Down Under is starting off with a bang split.
Tonight's guest, Aussie model-actress Sophie Monk, announced she and fiancé Jimmy Esebag have broken up. Monk stated she's "newly single" after Chelsea Handler asked Monk about her recent engagement to "that old guy."
French businessman Esebag, 50, is the chairman of United Licensing Group, which owns the rights to the Playboy brand. Sophie, 31, was previously engaged to Benji Madden in 2006, but the pair called it off in 2008.
But don't cry for Monk just yet.
Sophie seems to have her game face on, as she also told Chelsea she's not ruling out gals and could "join Team Samantha Ronson."
