Darren Michaels/TNT

Why should Marc Anthony let his wife have all the TV fun?

The acclaimed actor and singer (or Mr. Jennifer Lopez, if you will) has joined the cast of TNT's Hawthorne as a series regular, reprising his role of Det. Nick Renata.

Get the rest of this casting rundown, plus all the other news in TV land in today's roundup:

Anthony appeared as Nick Renata in two episodes last seasons, and when Hawthorne returns for its third season in June, he'll be back as a full-time cast member. Nick bonded with Christina Hawthorne (Jada Pinkett Smith) last season over criminal investigations involving the hospital. And now it would seem there will be much more bonding (and criminal investigating) ahead for Nick and Christina.
