Here's a story that doesn't involve any toys (inevitable tie-ins aside), but still appeals to the kid in all of us.
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen have decided to lend way more than their voices and actually work together in the flesh on the live-action feature film Jungle Cruise, based on the popular Disney theme park ride.
The project, confirmed by the Walt Disney Studios in a statement to E! News, marks the latest collaboration from the guys who helped bring Woody and Buzz Lightyear to life in the animated Toy Story film franchise. Roger S.H. Schulman, who cowrote Shrek, has signed on to pen the movie's script.
No word yet as to when Jungle Cruise will, er, cruise into theaters, but our bags are already packed!
