Casey Abrams appears to be in the clear.

While Fox has remained silent about the double-bass-plucking American Idol contestant's condition, Abrams was reportedly well enough to start rehearsing with the rest of the Top 24 after spending two nights in the hospital.

The 20-year-old from Illinois, who auditioned in Austin and now lives in California, was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (welcome to Hollywood, kid) with severe stomach pains on Wednesday night and later received a blood transfusion, according to TMZ.

He was released today, went right to rehearsal and participated in tonight's taping for the top 12 guys' performance show, airing Wednesday.

Already a favorite since blowing the judges away on day one with his surprisingly soulful, throwback sound, the loss of Abrams at this stage of the game would have been a big one. We're glad to hear he's going on with the show.
