Seems like we're not the only ones who thought Lindsay Lohan could make a comeback by nabbing the part of Lois Lane in the new Superman flick.

Lindsay agrees, too!

"It's true, she's in the talking stage now," a source close to Lohan tells us about her possible involvement in the Zack Snyder-directed Superman: Man of Steel.

So how did this all come about? And which role is she eyeing? Well...

"Lindsay wants a part in this movie bad," explains one of her close pals. "Ever since news broke that Henry Cavill was cast, she did everything in her power to track down his number and try and set up a meeting with him and the studio."

And it appears Lohan's determination might pay off.

However, that doesn't totally mean she will nab the role of Lois Lane.

LiLo insiders tell us that her people are in talks to cast her "in a major role" in the upcoming film and are playing coy as to what role, exactly, this might be.

Olivia Wilde has been a front runner for Lois Lane for a while, but nothing has been set in Kryptonite.

Aside from the jewelry debacle, we're told Lindsay—despite being out at Chateau Marmont a few times—has been on good behavior.

"She's serious about making a comeback," explains the source. "No booze, no drugs. She wants people to remember why she was famous in the first place, and that's because she's talented."

As for the Superman rumors, Dina Lohan tells us: "We really can't make a comment at this time."

We're totally supportive of Linds getting any big role in this flick as long as she stays on the straight and narrow path and doesn't take things from her costar's trailers!
