Which Oscar Winner's Beach Shack Is Going for Only $30,000? (Per Month, That Is)

It's no longer a love shack, but it's still more than a little old place to get together.

Not wanting to let the impressive property go entirely, a pretty recent Oscar winner has put this three-bedroom, three-bathroom piece of Malibu paradise on the renter's market for the not-bargain-at-all price of $30,000.

Of course, that's just us. Surely the movie star who's going to be leaving the beachfront charmer in someone else's hands thinks it's an awesome deal! So, whose house is this?

Ye olde bungalow belongs to none other than Charlize Theron, who ruled the 2003-04 awards season after playing a serial killer in Monster.

Set on private La Costa beach, the grounds feature a hot tub, a fire pit and an expansive deck on which to while away the hours watching the waves. Fancy stuff inside the 2,095-square-foot house includes a massive drop-down TV, a built-in sound system, security cameras and a soaking tub in the master bathroom.

Over the years, the neighborhood ones-to-watch have included Reese Witherspoon, Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, and Ozzy Osbourne and family.

Theron bought the place in 2001 for $2.2 million and shared the staycation-worthy digs with longtime boyfriend Stuart Townsend before they parted ways a year ago.
