She is single.
I caught up with her at the Bing Bar at the Sundance Film Festival. When I asked who was the better Ping-Ponger, her or her "boyfriend," she said without any hesitation, "I don't have a boyfriend."
In other words, it's all about table tennis for the 64-year-old Oscar winner and the thirty-something-year-old Bricklin, even though they have been spotted traveling together in Europe.
"I'm a propagandist," Sarandon said of her role with Spin. "I'm not necessarily a [Ping-Pong] player, but I really believe in it…It's just so democratic. It doesn't matter if you're a boy or a girl, or skinny or fat. You just never can tell who is going to be great at it."
Bricklin was also on hand at Bing Bar for a Ping-Pong demonstration. For the record, I didn't see any canoodling of any kind between Sarandon and Bricklin. Sarandon and Tim Robbins split up in 2009 after 23 years together.
That's not all I have from you the afternoon at the Bing Bar. Make sure to come back here to find out what she had to say about a Thelma & Louise sequel, Glee's Rocky Horror episode and the latest on daughter Eva Amurri's wedding plans.
