When the movie you're making isn't just about any horse, you definitely can't trot into it lightly.
And in this exclusive first look at a behind-the-scenes clip featured on the upcoming Blu-ray/DVD release of Secretariat (out next Tuesday), it's pretty obvious the folks who brought the racing legend to life on the big screen did everything they could to get viewers up close and personal with the super stallion.
"Sometimes the hoof would hit the camera. That's how in there they were," recalls the film's other star Diane Lane. "You could almost feel it, taste it, smell it."
