From red carpet rookie Sarah Hyland to stars like Sandra Bullock and Olivia Wilde, having bangs is a big trend on the red carpet but who wears this look best?

Bangs are a bit risky. Change your mind and the growing out process takes forever. So it's fascinating to see all three of these stars take the plunge for the Golden Globes—from Sandra Bullock and Olivia Wilde's stick-straight style to Sarah Hyland's partial updo. But whose blunt cut works best?

We'd have to give that honor to the House star. Wilde's bangs are soft and pretty and don't obscure from the awesome cat eye makeup she's got going on. Hyland's are the perfect shape but a little too long. But at least the red carpet rookie isn't hidden behind a wall of hair. We respect Bullock for trying something new (and a lot edgier than she's used to!) but these bangs are far too heavy for her delicate features. This look says Goth teenager when we wanna see glam leading lady!
