Studded Stars: Gotta Have It or Make It Stop?

Hollywood's adding a gritty edge to its wardrobe with studs appearing on everything from leggings to bags and boots.

Among the pampered princess' buying in to the rough rider trend are Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Beyoncé, who've all been spotted wearing their bedazzled duds recently.

So what does our Fashion Police panel think of the studded look?

Joan Rivers—wearing a studded jacket by Givenchy—seems a little biased. But that doesn't mean all the starlets get a free pass. Each one of those studs on Lindsay's bag "represents a time when she screamed, ‘Mother, you are ruining my f--king life,'" says Joan. "I know this because Melissa has the same bag."

But celebrity wisecracks aside, Joan, Giuliana Rancic and Kelly  Osbourne give the edgy accessory a thumbs up. Only George Kotsiopoulos thinks the look has been around too long.

C'mon George, give the other studs a chance to shine.
