Say what?!

We'll ignore the tetchy implications that it was right around the same time Mila Kunis regained sight in both of her eyes that she also reportedly happened to split with longtime beau Macaulay Culkin, but the fact remains:

The Black Swan star used to be partially blind. Again we say: say what?!

Kunis revealed the shocking news in an interview with Cosmopolitan, telling the mag that she worked hard to keep her partial vision a secret until she finally got it fixed last year.

"I was blind in one eye for many years, and nobody knew," she said. "I'm not blind anymore. I had surgery a couple of months ago. They cut it open and dropped a new lens in there."

So what caused the frightening vision decline in the first place?

Chronic iritis. The 27-year-old suffered from a chronic inflammation of the iris, which typically results in blurred vision, sensitivity to light and motion sickness.

Which makes all that pirouetting she did in Black Swan all the more impressive. Are you listening, Academy voters?
