The Countess has been silent on the speculation, except earlier today she tweeted, "Love Cartier!" after a report surfaced that she and her wine importer beau were recently spotted looking at rings at the French jewelers' San Francisco outpost.
De Lesseps and her husband of 16 years, Count Alexandre, split in 2009 after he allegedly admitted to having an affair.
Back in April, de Lesseps told me of Azoulay, "My love life is real good."
Then in June, when my E! Online pal Hollywood Party Girl asked about the possibility of remarrying, she said, "You never know. Never say never."
The lovebirds spent some of the holidays in Lake Tahoe and San Fran, but were back in New York in time to ring in the new year at Chez Josephine.
A source tells me that the two are quite serious but they aren't planning on getting hitched...yet.
