New York contractor Stephen Paletta took home the $1 million prize on the season finale of Oprah's Big Give Sunday after besting his fellow contestants when it came to doling out the dollars and good will, not to mention the requisite reality-TV charm.

"I’m in shock," the 43-year-old father of three said. "It was such an incredible honor and privilege to be part of this show and to be chosen as the Biggest Giver with all these wonderful people." Runners-up Brandi Malloy and Cameron Johnson each received $100,000, while each of the other seven original contestants benefited from Oprah Winfrey and celeb guest Jennifer Aniston's largess, as well, in pocketing $30,000 apiece.

And in keeping with the philanthropic spirit of the ABC show, Paletta was informed that half of the jackpot will go toward the recipients of his choice, while the other half is his to keep.

Minus that charitable contribution he'll be making to the IRS, of course.
