The ailing Skating With the Stars contestant will say goodbye to fans tonight on the show after annoucing he will have to leave the competition.
Here's the deal...
Smith, who stars as supersuave Nico Harris opposite Demi Lovato in Sonny With a Chance, missed last week's show after being hospitalized after falling ill on set.
Now, he's not taking any chances with his health.
"We are sad to report that [Brandon] will not be skating tonight and will be departing from the show due to illness," his rep confirms to E! News. "While he was able to return to practice last week after being taken to the hospital for a stomach virus, the show's sponsored doctor has advised him that he should not skate tonight as he is still sick. While Brandon is less than thrilled by the news, he does not want to put his partner, himself, or the show at any risk."
Brandon will apprear on tonight's show to say goodbye to his fans and fellow skaters.
