It looks like Taylor Lautner's life beyond the Twilight saga will involve going to prison.
Fortunately, it's not of the Wesley Snipes variety, but rather a fictional one.
The 18-year-old star has signed on to topline the big-screen adaptation of author Catherine Fisher's young adult novel Incarceron, per Deadline.com.
The movie will find Lautner playing Finn, who has spent his entire life in a futuristic prison society. When he meets the warden's daughter, who herself is trapped in a prison resembling the 17th century, the two formulate a plan of escape for Finn.
Lautner, who recently completed the movie Abduction and is currently shooting the two Breaking Dawn flicks, may also coproduce this project as well.
