Former View cohost Lisa Ling returned to the couch as a guest today and opened up for the first time about suffering a miscarriage six months ago after nine weeks of pregnancy.
"I felt more like a failure than I'd felt in a very long time," she recalled in an interview airing Friday. She and husband Paul Song were "devastated' by the loss, especially, Ling explained, because now she fears the same result if she tries to get pregnant again.
But her experience also inspired Ling to take action. She has since cofounded Secret Society of Women, a website providing a forum for those who need an outlet to share their experiences and soak up advice and words of wisdom from other women.
