If "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" ends up getting an Oscar nomination, it'll be hard not to think of Ronni Chasen when Cher performs the Burlesque ballad during the big awards show.

Why?

The songwriter of the tune is one of Chasen's longtime clients, Diane Warren. The two attended the Burlesque premiere and afterparty together the night that Chasen was gunned down while driving home in Beverly Hills.

"It's horrible," Warren said of the still unsolved killing at today's Hollywood Reporter Power 100 Women in Entertainment gala. "It's sad and horrible. I still can't believe it. It's still not real."

Tragedy aside, we're so hoping for that Oscar nod. Picture it—Cher singing at the Oscars!

"Everybody wants that," Warren smiled. "And everybody wants to know what she would wear. Cher can wear any f--king thing she wants. Someone 18 could wear it and they're not going to look as hot as Cher."

Warren songs have received six Academy Award nominations, but she has yet to take home the gold.

"Cher's going to be 200 years old an in a Chrome Hearts wheelchair on stage singing that song," Warren laughed. "I wrote it for her….I wanted to write Cher's defiant 'f--k you' song basically."
