Let's see. Kate Gosselin was on Dancing With the Stars. So was Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol.
Which, at least based on the promo for next Sunday's episode of Sarah Palin's Alaska, is pretty much all these two ladies seem to really have in common as they team up for a little camping expedition.
If you don't count, of course, that they both just happen to have shows on TLC.

While the clip shows Palin confidently shooting her rifle and declaring that the ruggedness of the fine folks of Alaska "is really a mystery to those in the lower 48," we also get a glimpse of a less-than-enthusiastic Gosselin trying to rough it with her brood.
"I'm freezing to the bone," she whines. "I'm hungry."
To which Palin remarks: "C'mon, it wasn't that bad."
Yep. It's probably safe to say things don't end up quite the same way as they did for Oprah and Gayle.
