Yes, it's just the week after Thanksgiving and yet awards season is already upon us. How better to kick it off then with the Grammys Nominations Concert?
Hey, a bouncy B.o.B and possibly jet-lagged Justin Bieber have gotta be better than sitting through an announcement of all 108 categories.
Didn't watch? Well, here's what you missed...
Most Awkward Moment: Concert host LL Cool J vigorously trying to eke the slightest amount of enthusiasm from an in-London-via-satellite and sleepy-looking Justin Bieber after his Best New Artist nomination is announced. (The Biebs did seem much more chipper when he performed "My Favorite Girl" a few minutes later, though. So, yay!)
Best Live Act: Bruno Mars, who shows why he's worth seven noms with a beautiful acoustic rendition of his hit "Just the Way You Are."
Weirdest Pairing: Song of the Year presenters Selena Gomez and Dave Grohl. The Foo Fighter ended up looking like the Disney darling's dirty old uncle. Though, we give Dave props for taking that notion and running with it.
Cutest Performance: B.o.B, who cheerfully bounced his way through "Beautiful Girls" with fellow nominee Bruno Mars.
Second Weirdest Pairing: Having Scottish late-night host—and Spoken Word nominee!—Craig Ferguson present the noms for Female Country Vocal Performance. But like Grohl, Craig winningly rocked it out.
Second Cutest Performance: Katy Perry, bringing her spunky 'n' sultry finest to "California Gurls," including her own tinsel mistletoe headwear.
Worst Tease: A montage of some of the year's best albums before the five official Album of the Year nominees are announced by Stevie Wonder. Way to point out who just got snubbed!
