But I did it, and I'd do it again in a second!
This time last year, I was putting the final touches on my wedding! My husband Gibby and I got married the Sunday after Thanksgiving in front of 80 of our closest family and friends. While we were engaged for over a year, I actually planned my wedding in two months. I didn't even have a wedding dress three weeks before the wedding.
I was the chillest bride ever! Never sweating the small stuff, I always knew the end result was just going to be about marrying my best friend. We got married at The Little Brown Church in Studio City, Calif. (Ronald Reagan married Nancy there decades before.)
Our reception kicked ass! It was small and intimate at our favorite Spanish restaurant. We indulged in tapas and red wine, and enjoyed Mariachi music, a flamenco guitarist and a super-hot flamenco dance performance! Dancing (and wine drinking) went well into the wee hours of the morning. It was the most fun I've ever had!
Who am I to judge and speculate on why Hollywood marriages don't last? I'm no one, so I won't. I'll just enjoy my own wedded bliss in this crazy city and wish all of you lots of love during this holiday season.
