Chris Daughtry will be rocking diaper duty.

The American Idol alum and his missus, Deanna Daughtry, are celebrating the birth of fraternal twins today, he announced on his website. Everybody is said to be "healthy and resting."

But the bigger question is did the Daughtry doubles join the Weird Celeb Baby Name Club?

Not even close. The newly minted parents went with Adalynn Rose for their daughter, who arrived first, debuing at at 11:06 a.m. ET at 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Nineteen minutes later a boy, dubbed Noah James, who weighed 5 pound, 5 ounces.

"Our family is overwhelmed with joy by these two precious gifts from God," Chris said. "The babies are both healthy and resting. Thanks to everyone for their love and prayers."

The couple announced the pregnancy back in May after the twins were conceived via in vitro fertlization. They were carried by a surrogate since Deanna had a partial hysterectomy in 2006.

These are the first children for the singer-songwriter, though he's not totally clueless when it comes to parenting. Adalynn and Noah will join 13-year-old daughter Hannah and 11-year-old Griffin, both of whom are from Deanna's previous marriage.

When he's not being a doting dad, Daughtry and his namesake band continue to record and tour. Their latest album, Leave This Town, hit No. 1 and the group just returned from an October jaunt through Europe.
