Glee's newest hottie, Chord Overstreet, was out at the launch event for Lotus Cars on Friday, so we took the opportunity to grill him on all things Glee, including his future with Quinn, working with Gwyneth Paltrow, that GQ cover and why he won't show us his goods in Playgirl.
As far as his relationship with Dianna Agron, he's playing coy. "There's some tension, some drama, that happens here and there. There's some good fun stuff. I'm basically talking without giving away any storyline," the bespectacled star told me.
But he wouldn't talk about his costars' "borderline pedophilia" magazine cover at all...
"I don't know what you're talking about," he deadpanned when I asked about GQ cover with Dianna, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, "I'm not talking about that."
But he was happy to dish on working with Gwyneth, whose guest episode airs this week. "She's so talented. She's super funny. She's got a great voice. She literally had to come in and learn four dance numbers in one day," he said.
In addition to her vocal and dancing abilities, he was also impressed with her parenting skills. "She's one of the sweetest people and she's got the sweetest kids, too. She brought them to set a couple of days and they're the cutest little kids," he told me.
As if we'd expect anything less than Gwynnie having perfect little angels!
Chord won't be doing any controversial photo shoots himself, as he told me he's not interested in posing for Playgirl, despite their offer, which was originally reported by The Awful Truth.
"It's a little racy," he explained, "I'm playing high school. I'm not one to flash my business."
But if you watch the show, you know he is one to flash his abs...and often. The secret to getting such a buff bod? Chord says he does a 2 to 3 hour daily workout with 45 minutes to an hour of that being abs work.
Damn. Guess there really is no carpool lane to sexy after all.
