Billy Ray Cyrus might be newly single, but Miley's dad is certainly not unemployed.
The country crooner-turned-actor is set to host Homecoming, a new series from TLC focusing on capturing the no doubt heart-tugging, tear-jerking reunions of military men coming home to their families.
Three hourlong episodes are in the pipeline focusing on soldiers who've served in Iraq and Afghanistan as they reconnect with their fathers, mothers, husbands and wives.
Homecoming is slated to premiere next spring.
The feel-good show will be a needed distraction for Cyrus' achy-breaky heart. The 49-year-old singer and his wife of 17 years, Tish, filed for divorce last week citing irreconcilable differences.
He's got plenty of work to keep him busy. Aside form Homecoming, Billy Ray is teaming with son Trace to investigate UFOs and the paranormal in SyFy's forthcoming reality series UFO: Unbelievably Freakin' Obvious.
