No wonder Michael Jackson is still one of the top-earning people in showbiz.

Michael, the first posthumous release of "new" material from the King of Pop's trove, is set to be released on Dec. 14.

Offering up a little taste of what's to come, MichaelJackson.com will be streaming the song "Breaking News" all next week. According to Epic Records, the tune was recorded in 2007 with producer Eddie Cascio.

But what does the record company have to say about a TMZ report that Michael's kids don't believe that their late dad is doing the singing on some of the tracks?

Well, Sony stands behind the upcoming album and Jackson's estate says that sound experts were brought in for extensive testing to authenticate his voice.

The album includes four tracks from the Cascio sessions, along with outtakes from other albums and a song penned by Paul Anka called "Love Never Felt So Good," according to Showbiz411.com.

A year ago, Anka successfully pressed Jackson's estate hard enough to get the recognition—and compensation—he felt he deserved for cowriting "This Is It," off the soundtrack album of the same name.

Jackson's last studio album in life was 2001's Invincible.
